Here's some of the most common questions we get.
Q: Why does a vehicle wrap take 3 days, when others can have it done in a day? A: Simple. We do it right. First, we need to prep the car. This includes washing it by hand to remove all dirt and dust. Then we wipe the car down with an industrial solvent to remove all wax, oil and grease. Then the car has to sit for 24 hours to completely dry. The second day is the application day. The car is wiped down one more time and the graphics are applied. Third, the graphics then need to bond to the vehicle and this takes 24 hours. So on the 3rd day, you can pickup your vehicle.
Q: How much does a vehicle wrap cost? A: This varies by many things. How big is the vehicle? How long do you want the graphics to last? How much prep work is needed? (old graphics to remove?) How intricate you would like to go? (door handles, etc.) Give us a call and we can inspect your vehicle and give you an accurate quote.
Q: How do I care for the wrap? A: No pressure washers. When at all possible, wash the vehicle by hand. We can provide special cleaners and wax to care for your investment.
Q: Can I get a full color digital printed banner today? A: Most cases, yes. If you have the artwork done already. If we are doing the artwork, you could expect it the next day. If you have an emergency, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Q: How long does a vehicle wrap last? A: That depends on the material. If you only need the wrap for a week promotion, we can use a less expensive removable vinyl. Typically, wraps are designed for 2-4 years. The vinyl carries a 5 year manufactures warranty.
Q: Does the vinyl hurt my paint? A: Not at all. In fact, it protects the paint. Paint oxidation and rust occur when oxygen meets metal. The vinyl forms an air-tight covering for your paint. Great for leased cars. Figure a 2 year lease and 2 year economy vinyl wrap equals great re-sale and a fantastic look.
